Sometimes even the simplest of sites turn out to be an image worth keeping.
While driving in Eastern Oregon the fog was think and there wasn’t much to see, much to my disappointment. The scenery in Eastern Oregon is pretty and I was hoping my roadtrip would be accompanied by beautiful landscapes. The fog blocked everything until I glanced out my side window and saw this majestic tree silhouetted in the fog. I had to stop. I got my camera out and walked a short distance into the field to get just the right image I was seeing in my mind. Since the fog turned everything into shades of gray, I took the photo in Black and White. I especially like the black foreground and how each successive hill is a little lighter gray until they are enveloped completely in the fog. =efh=
