Springtime in Winthrop – 30 April 2019

I spent a fun carefree weekend in Winthrop, a small town on the Chewuch River in Northern Washington. Such a fun little town to visit. Small local shops, a few good restaurants, nice little walks along the main street, and some great hikes in the hills and mountains surrounding Winthrop. This time in the spring the Chewuch River was full of ducks and geese, a red tail hawk was frequently seen over head and on the morning I took this photo a bald eagle landed on the gravel bar in the river. Nothing really specular here other than the enjoyment of just relaxing and enjoying the sites and the people. That in itself was spectacular. Have a great day!
