A Foggy Slough – April 8, 2018

It was a cold foggy morning when I headed up to the Olympic Mountains to photography rivers, streams and water. When I first came up to Bernard Creek, I was disappointed with the fog, but later came to believe it added a bit of mystery to the scene; made the place look desolate and cold.  The forest was gloomy, the trees looking bare and draped with moss and without the fog, would not have been as mysterious. But the water along with the fallen tree adds to the eerie feeling I got from this place. It just needs a good mystery story.
