Indicators of Spring – 02 April 2019

posted in: LIFE | 0

During my walk this morning through a nearby park, I was observing the many indicators of spring. The buds on the bare branches of trees and the temperature slowly climbing from coat weather to sweater weather. The daffodils and tulips in bloom, the singing of song birds, migratory birds flying north and their layover in our NW wetlands. The buzz of hummingbirds and my favorite, the bloom of a Trillium in our NW forests. While spring is not my favorite season, it is a favorite of many because after a long cold winter spring brings the start of new beginnings. Trillium, a member of the Lily family, is one of my favorite plants and is only seen in bloom for a brief period early each spring. =efh=
